Labor Day was a better mystery/suspense movie than I anticipated. It is not much more romantic than what you see in the trailer and contains some pretty harrowing material regarding miscarriage and accidental death. (This confirmed my theory that “Labor Day” has a double meaning.) Beautifully shot and well acted, just know what you’re seeing as you’ll be on the edge of your seat for much of the running time.
