Arrival – Movie Review
Arrival – PG-13

Amy Adams stars as Dr. Louise Banks, a linguist sent by the American government to try to communicate with a UFO. She is recruited by Colonel Weber (Forest Whitaker) and works alongside a mathematician named Ian Donnelly (Jeremy Renner.)
Arrival is a fantastic mystery that will have you thinking about it long after you leave the theater. The imagery helps fuel your fascination as a viewer as you’re right alongside Louise trying to figure out what the aliens’ intentions are. The answer is where the movie truly transcends expectation, and while it may leave some viewers irritated or confused, I expect the majority to be (at a minimum) entertained.
This is a smart, beautiful mystery movie that you don’t have to be a sci-fi fan to enjoy. See it with as little information as you can for the best experience.
